SCOTT EDWARDS ELECTED TO BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF THE WSAJ

Scott Edwards has been elected to the Board of Governors of  The Washington State Association for Justice (“WSAJ”). The WSAJ is an organization with over 3,000 members that aims to:

“protect and promote a fair justice system and the right to trial by jury, and to ensure that any person who is harmed by the misconduct or negligence of others can obtain justice in America’s courtrooms, even in actions against the most powerful interests.”

This opportunity requires a great deal of commitment by Scott but the rewards are great—not only because of the personal satisfaction of helping to guide the largest trial lawyer organization in Washington but also because he will develop contacts and personal relationships with other great trial lawyers in Washington. Schauermann Thayer Jacobs Staples & Edwards PS believe it is important to “give back” to organizations that promote the justice system. Mr. Edwards is following in the footsteps of our senior partner, Craig Schauermann (who served on the Board of Governors for five years and currently serves on the Political Action Committee Board for WSAJ) and Scott Staples who has served for several years at the local level of WSAJ.
