Recent releases from the CDC indicate that masks and social distancing may no longer be as critical with a population that is increasingly better protected by antibodies or vaccination, and a loosening of public health guidelines is thus occurring as we speak. Governor Inslee has declared that effective March 12, 2022, Washington State will be following the loosened federal guidelines.
Encouraged by that and the recent lowered COVID-19 infection trends, which continue to show fewer and fewer cases (as well as symptoms which are less severe than earlier), Schauermann Thayer will be holding more “in office” meetings, depositions, and conferences.
We of course will continue in adherence to the State's guidelines and recommendations. But those now include relaxation of the mask mandate, effective March 12, 2022; after that date clients or other persons in our office need not wear a mask, although anyone that wishes to will certainly be welcome to do so.
We do ask that anyone who does not feel 100% well or who may be experiencing any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 (or of any other sickness/illness) arrange through the scheduling process for a remote appearance, at least until good health has returned.
If you have any questions or concerns about the current state of Schauermann Thayer's COVID-19 policies or procedures, or regarding anything else for that matter, please contact us.
